About Us
St. Joseph Catholic School in Waxahachie hosts Oktoberfest every year on the third Saturday in September. This is the school's largest fundraiser and all proceeds from Oktoberfest help the school maintain operations and academic programs. Funds raised in the past have helped provide the monetary resources needed for lockers, desks as well as computer, science and music equipment and curriculum.
St. Joseph Catholic School opened in August of 1992 with the expressed purpose of supporting Catholic families in the spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical education of their children in a loving, nurturing, environment. In a few short years the school has grown and established itself as an integral part of the parish and of the community. The school's graduates have gone on to distinguish themselves at area schools and universities both private and public.
Oktoberfest is a great way for St. Joseph School to contribute to the community by hosting a family-style event fun for all ages. The event is run completely by volunteers – namely the students, parents and faculty of the school along with many parishioners and organizations of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Please visit our school website and our parish website to learn more about our school and parish community and come and enjoy the fun while contributing to a wonderful cause… the children of St. Joseph's!
We look forward to seeing you,
