Waxahachie Oktoberfest is a community-wide event offering food, fun and entertainment for all ages! This annual one-day only event is held the third Saturday of September at our new location, the Waxahachie Civic Center – just 30 minutes south of Dallas!

Doors open at 10 am and go until 8 pm
Kitchen opens at 11 am offering German and BBQ plates all cooked fresh on-site for a wonderful home-style meal! Complete your lunch or dinner with some homemade apple strudel!
Our Kinderfest offers games for all ages…toddlers can enjoy our Kiddie Corner while the older ones will have fun with such games as a Star Wars Laser Gun shooting and we even have a Water Balloon Launcher that's fun for all ages and much much more!
Karaoke for Kids – Kids competition begins at 3 pm. Sign up at the event and take your shot for some Cool Prizes!
Washer Tournaments begins at 1 pm. Sign-ups begin at noon.
Our Silent and Live Auctions offer additional and often unique items you can purchase. Silent Auction closes at 5 pm. Last year's live auction items included a Jet ride in a MIG, a Ride in a Viper Acrobatic plane, Merimac gun cases and the famous Sister Lucy dinner, prepared by the school principal Ms. Mary Kay Volker.
Great Raffle Prizes too! You can buy your tickets from any school parent or at the event. Take a chance to win a 50" Panasonic Plasma HD & 3-D TV with glasses and 3-D Blu Ray player, an Apple® iPad 2, a laptop computer, a XBox 360® with Kinnect or an Amazon® Kindle!
Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! 40+ Vendor booths offer a wide variety of things to choose from. Enjoy browsing and hopefully you'll find something to take home!
And of course, it wouldn't be Oktoberfest without a Biergarten! Come and enjoy our casual-style Biergarten open all day long (for Adults only – please bring your ID).
All proceeds from Oktoberfest benefit St. Joseph Catholic School, 506 East Marvin.
