Oktoberfest Waxahachie is a community-wide event offering food, fun and entertainment for all ages! This one-day only event is held the third Saturday of September at the Ellis County Expo Center – just 30 minutes south of Dallas!

Doors open 10 am – 8 pm
Kitchen opens at 11 am offering German and BBQ plates all cooked fresh on-site for a wonderful home-style meal! Complete your lunch or dinner with some homemade apple strudel!
Our Kinderfest offers games for all ages…toddlers can enjoy our Kiddie Corner while the older ones will have fun with such games as a Star Wars Shooting Gallery, Laser Gun shooting and we even have Horseracing that’s fun for all ages and much much more!
Karaoke for Kids and Adults – Kids competition begins at 3 pm and Adult competition begins at 7pm. Sign up at the event and take your shot for some Cool Prizes!
Horseshoe Tournament begins at 1 pm. Sign ups begin at noon.
Shopping! Shopping! Shopping! 40+ Vendor booths offer a wide variety of things to choose from. Enjoy browsing and hopefully you’ll find something to take home!
Our Silent Auction and Live Auction offer additional and often unique items you can purchase. Silent Auction closes at 5 pm. Live Auction begins immediately afterwards.
Our Live Auction is featuring a ride aboard a Russian MIG jet! You can bid on this Top Gun experience at the event. We also have a brand new 4-wheeler up for auction along with an Emmitt Smith autographed football and many other great items!
Great Raffle Prizes too! You can buy your tickets at the event. Take a chance on a 60” HD Flat Screen TV, $500 & $250 Gift Card, Wii system with Wii Fit and an iPod Touch!
And of course, it wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without a Biergarten! Come and enjoy our casual-style Biergarten open all day long (for Adults only – please bring your ID).
